We had such a lovely time here. We arrived with our two golden retrievers and we were made to feel more than welcome. It was such a pleasure to walk the grounds of the house and let the dogs safely off lead. The tranquility of Tankardstown House was evident everywhere. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the bed was luxuriously comfortable. The food and service was excellent. All in all a very positive experience. We will be back. Thank you to all the staff.

We stayed in Tankardstown House for one night and had their ten course tasting menu. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The courtyard suite was fabulous. The tasting menu was exquisite!! There was absolutely no problem with them amending the courses to make them gluten free for me. All in all, a really lovely experience!

Tankardstown is our go-to spot when we want to get away from it all with our dog. This was our 4th visit and we will be back. Staff are always excellent and most welcoming, your newish Chef has found his feet and the food is even better than the last time, only slight criticism was that the vegetable accompaniments didn't match the quality of the main courses, parsnips were hard and mash was watery and luke warm. everything else was exceptional and we can't wait until our next trip. ps, Ava was outstanding with her service.

Such a beautiful place to stay. You're made to feel entirely at home in the house and the staff couldn't do more for you. We love it so much we got married there so it makes it extra magical and special for us to visit.
